A post from some guy on Hot Deals UK:   Quote:     This is interrupting my pessimism on this deal. Agh. Now I'm getting excited. =(.

Sennheiser IE7 for £35, free delivery from orange.

Ahhhh. This isn't going to happen. Considering how many must have been ordered by now, you'd think they would have run out of  any promotional stock.   Maybe if people weren't ordering numerous of them we'd have a chance!   Time will tell, but I don't think I'll be getting my 3. =P.

Essence STX Problem, Left-Channel volume. Help.

I sold my STX on eBay last week. The buyer has reported that there is a fault with it.   It would seem that when he turns his volume down, using Windows or a Media program, the left channel does not lower. The right works as normal. This only happens after half an hour. It can only be fixed...

    Best headphones for £60?

Look for a used pair of SRH440's. Pretty nice headphones, should be able to get them in that range.

World Cup - England v USA!!!!!!!!!!

Quote: Scot's complain far more about England 'droning' on about '66 than the English actually go on about '66. Many Scot's don't mind if England win. Definitely some anti-English atmosphere from the older-generation, but amongst my peers, I feel there's a balance between people wanting...

    DT770/600ohm and SRH840

Quote: This is very much along the lines of how I felt. I much prefer the SRH840s. I just found them utterly unwearable.

    How do IEMs compare...

Quote: Great answer, thanks for that.   I will be mostly using them out of an iPod with a simple Fiio E5 with mostly ALAC files. Not arrived yet, but thoroughly looking forward to hearing them. If they come clsoe to either, I'll be delighted.

    How do IEMs compare...

...with full-size headphones?   I have a pair of UE-10's on their way - I needed something portable for travelling and working-out. I'm curious in what ways a high quality set of IEMs will differ from a similarly priced set of full-sized phones.   For example, I have a pair of DT880's...

    AD700 vs M50 vs SRH840

Having listened to both the AD700 and SRH840 extensively, I'd pretty much avoid both. =).   I sold my AD700s because of how much of the low-end is missing - I can't get used to it. Classical and some pop is fine on them, but otherwise I dislike them.   I much prefer the sound of my...

    Musiland Monitor 02 US

Hey, I got this today but I'm having a problem... The headphone jacks wont work. When the PC boots up the headphone light is on, but when Windows opens the light switches to the RCA outputs, nothing seems to get it back to the headphones, tried many headphones in both jacks and tried on two...

    Fairly new to headphones...

So over the past few weeks I've moved on considerably from my Senn HD201s. I currently have a set of AD700s, SRH840s and HD600s I'm sitting here and I can hear the difference between them, but am lacking in a little appreciation for these headphones. Obviously I've read the reviews and...
