Couple more things I've noticed: 1) Foam is definitely softer this time around. This is not a subjective feeling. You can definitely feel it easier to squish once they've been sitting out for a while. With the 33's, they are hard at room temperature. This may or may not be a good thing...- headspiv

Making Earbuds Stronger?
Any tips on how to reinforce earbuds at vulnerable spots? Specifically I have v-moda bass headphones and they are very vulnerable where the wire enters the bottom of the bud and also where the two halves of the earbud themselves are joined. Modding Marshmallows to fit deeper into the ear?
I love the sound but i've added shure olives (modded) and I need them to sit deeper in the ear. The case is pretty fat, so I think that's what's preventing it from going deeper. Anyway to mod the case or anything else?- headspiv

Why does JVC make so many good earbuds and headphones?
what's their history? I have seen several different models of JVC earbuds with excellent reviews, including aircushions, marshmallows, and the hd model (can't remember the name of it, it's under 20 on amazon)- headspiv

comply foam tips have very good comfort, but they don't have as much noise isolation as I would like. i'm basically looking for earbuds with very narrow openings- headspiv

I am looking for a cheap IEM with a narrow opening which will take shure olives. I want an IEM that has excellent bass. Right now I have some cheap earbuds that take Shure Olives but the sound is really bad. I know that the isolation on the foams is great, so all I want now is the sound to go...- headspiv

Best Bass IEM's under $50?
I have jvc marshmallows and would like even more bass than they offer. The IEM's i know of are Sennheiser cx-300's and Meelectronics M6 and M9. How do these compare in terms of bass and isolation? Any other recommendations would be welcome. Thanks- headspiv
