ER2XR seems great from what I've read but I'm looking for any other IEMs that would be "better" around that price tag, especially regarding soundstage which is said to be totally 2D for the Etys ER2. Any recommendation?

I'm interested in having the 2014 version for the DI V3 as I'm not using foobar and don't find a good wasapi plugin for my player.   I hope they are going to release their new driver "special DI V3" soon!

You have to ask for it when you place the order. You'll have the I2S output at the back of the DI, which you can use to connect the DI to your I2S input at the back of a Ref7.1 or something like that. Apparently, you can also have I2S input for the DI.

I didn't tried PSU vs no PSU on the V3, but it was a nice improvement for my V1, worth the upgrade considering the price.

I personally let my PSU for DI-V1 on all the time, and I didn't have any trouble with it for the last past two years, so I think you can do the same with the V3.

I'm asking myself the same question about upsampling on the V3. If there is any upsampling, it looks like you can't change the rate like on the V1. I think it may be non-upsampling then, avoiding compatibility trouble with some DACs.
