Ok, I think you can get it slightly cheaper from Asia. Honestly don't know about 32/384. My spdif input is limited to 24/96, so I am not able to test it properly.

If Tony's HE-6 is the only one with 6 screws, then the 6-screw ring from Hifiman obviously won't fit a normal HE-6. I think the piece of foam is a lousy attempt on doing what the fuzzor mod does.

Typical sign of underpowering. Upper mids and highs gets sort of a 'screamy' effect. My experiences are the same on both Project Polaris, Lake People G100 and some lower wattage vintage amplifiers.
