Just tested the cable with my HE-400s and I cant hear anything. 

These fit just slightly too low on my head.  Which headband fits better?  The 6 button generic headband or the 4 button beyer headband?

  I just got my HE-400s from headamp, but the left cup isnt working.  I tried 2 different amps and two different 1/4 to 1/8 adapters and w/o the adapter, and each time there is no sound out of the left cup.  Tried switching the L and R connections and still no sound out of left.  Hopefully...

I dont smoke regularly anymore. I like Nat Naturals and mint and dunhills. For "cheap" cigs i was smoking a lot of kamel red lights for a while. when i was in europe i was rolling drum, but the drum in the US sucks in comparison.

cleaning helped slightly. one side sounds alright the other, not so well. anyone know where i can get the diaphragms replaced?

Mine work, but they dont sound too great. I think the diaphrams need replacing. Did you ever get yours replaced?
