Is it possible to mod the S:flo2 battery, poor battery life is a deal-breaker for me. Now settling with the fuze LO.

I found a UK dealer that has the SM3 and seems legit: Radio Microphones , In Ear Monitors , Headphones and Accessories I think they charge a more reasonable shipping price compare to the official store.

Best Amp with Bass Boost option

The Monster Turbine Pro series respond well to amplification IMHO, although I have no idea what the impedance is, it seems to have a rather high impedance (lower volume compare to my other IEMs). The gold played pretty well with my D4. If you want a neutral IEM and bass boost to kick it up, go...

    Clip+ Sound Quality, really??

Or you can wait for the price of the new 32gb microSD to go down. SanDisk® microSDHC™ Card - Ideal Companion for Your Multimedia Phone Since they're both made by Sandisk, i think they'll have no trouble getting along with each other.

Best Amp with Bass Boost option

Well the S:flo2/T51 is well known for awesome sound quality but also a sub-par UI. So an amp might be the solution, but the ones under 200$ not gonna do any better than what the HO already has to offer. Might wanna consider the Headstage Arrow, it fits almost perfectly with the T51 and has a...

Best Amp with Bass Boost option

It's really powerful when set to max, that + ie8 will swirl your brain around.... But I doubt anyone would go that far because it'll bleed into the mids.

Best Amp with Bass Boost option

For bass boost an E5 would suffice, or the GoVibe Magnum which has an analog bass boost which worked very well for most IEMs I've tried. You can use the monster triple flanges, by cutting of the stem of your UM3X triple flange and put it in the monster tip, or any dynamic IEM tips for that...

    YOUR FAVORITE IEM

Have listened to a lot of top tier IEMs including W3, MTPG, TF10, UM3X, IE8, SE530. I'm in a dilemma between the IE8 and the MTPG as my fav. Both of the do bass so well but I like the midbass bump and the broad soundstage of the IE8 and the overall detail of the MTPG. So far the armatures...

Just bought the IE8's Good decision?

It's quite a steal at that price, but whether it's worth it or not depends on your taste, for me it's definitely a YES!!! The TF10 can be had for new at around that price also, but it is a different beast, at that level, there is no "better", just "different". You might have fit issues for the...

    Amping Fuze HO okay?

I'm planning to DIY my own fuze LOD. Is the Nichicon Muse ES appropriate for the job? If the different between electrolytic and film caps are that significant, I might save up for one of joe's LOD.
