Closed back headphone decision help
I am looking to buy some closed back headphones for use when walking and at my work desk so sound isolation must be good, i will be mainly listening to FLAC files on my fuze. I do listen to music reasonably loud but i do not want to have to carry a portable amp (to much hassle). I have a budget...- tomsdubs

Head-Direct RE-02 Review
Got mine yesterday, had about 6 hours burn in and sound ok. The bass is really lacking at the moment but the sound is improving with usage. Have to say they sound amazing with classical and jazz; also vocals sound so clear. I'll keep burning them in hoping the bass with improve and the slight...- tomsdubs

Latest Scoop= Marantz 64GB flash Ipod beater
The fact is most people i know sound quality isn't overly important to them, the irony of them saying they are "music lovers" always leaves me kind of baffled. There will always be a reasonable demand for high end audio but the majority are either not bothered or to ignorant to care. Take a...- tomsdubs

Headphones for the Sansa Fuze that don't need an amp?
Been looking at a few sets Senn HD228 sounds good but im not sure i would like the way they sit on my ears, maybe would prefer a set that isolate more. I really like the look of Audio technica ATH-ES7 but they are out of my budget, i don't have the luxury of auditioning any headphones. I...- tomsdubs

Headphones for the Sansa Fuze that don't need an amp?
I have a fuze on the way and im looking to go with full headphones instead of the buds i currently use. I need a pair of phones that can be driven by the fuze and still get loud. My budget isn't huge, probably £40/$80. Been looking around at Sennheisers and lower end audio technicas? I dont mind...- tomsdubs

NW-HD3 died - New player recommendations
Hi, new users looking for some help. I'm in the market for a new player but now i really only need about 8gb storage and I've been looking at the Sansa Fuze and Sony NWZ-A818. I use Sony MDR-ED21LP currently (I've had bad experiences buying other buds). I want a player with good sound...- tomsdubs
