After lengthy comparison between using the STX to feed the Little Dot MKIII, and merely using the STX alone, I've come to the conclusion that the Little Dot worsens my listening experience considerably. I shall be getting rid of it.

fjarle, I'm hoping an amp will improve things, as after a fair bit of listening, I'm disappointed with my HD 650's - considering putting them up for sale on avforum now. Looking to pick up HD 800's to see if that's more to my liking. Nice picture btw!

fjarle, do as I did - extend the metal bands to the maximum, then flex them quite hard, repeat this a few times untill the cans aren't as tight. There is a thread somewhere on the forums about this... just can't find the link atm.
