I just found the MA 10d on Craigslist, took a chance and love them. Although they are not the 15s, my impression is that Roland has packed lots of options in these and has paid attention to sound quality. Recommended.

I would recommend you audition Senn HD 650s and V Moda LP Crossfades (the LP 2s have come out and you can get these $249 cans for about $100).  If you want a clear brightish presentation also try the Senn HD 25-1 ii.  All three excellent choices.

I would definitely choose the Senn. HD-1 ii, for the exact needs you stated. Portable, durable, great sound incl. bass. On soundtracks you're gold! The other 2 are close but not the best.

At Bed, Bath and Beyond they have these killer "Euro" satin nickel racks, a banana holder (for one headphone) and coffee mug rack (for several)....   I use the Mug rack and love it for my 5 headphones.  Very cheap and very sturdy.     See them...
