I will make an a/c compression between ps audiolink and duet today, i guess i will be buying one of those... Duet seems to have more analytic voice over psal ııı but i think it can be a pro when paired with hd 650... Will see..

bump... while i have found a really good deal with PS DigitalLink III ,I am curious if it would be complete shame if use ps audio with MACbook throught usb? Is there really a HUGE difference between USB and optical inputs?

Thanx for responds... Dac 19 have lots of hype going on , but i read that usb really limits its abilities.. Has anyone compared DAC19 usb and optical?

Hi, I upgrated my HEED with a SOLO+psu1 a few weeks ago. I am using my Imod lod-RCA as a source at the moment, and actually i am happy with that. It is as good as (sometimes even better) than my Keces 151usb.. I don't have much expariance with source components, so help me there please...

I am listening SOLO 2007 and HEED side by side, with HD600, HD650, akg701(ral cyro-silver), akg271s for a week now. IMO, solo is better (no big suprize there) with wider soundstage, far better treble extension, and more detail and speed (specially in the bass area) BUT for 701, i like it...

Another easy mod from me.. Take a hammer and smash that nasty bumps for good... It works in means of comfort and you just don't rip the headband... So it makes it a perfect mod in my book

Next week i will have hd600, hd650, copper coated silver, and silver cables (from audiominor , a turkish guy making high-endish headphone cables,known as compicatx in that forum, search for him , u won't regret) Ral^701 , Heedcanamp and SOLo in my inventory, i guess iwill find that questions...

I am indeed very happy to to read that huge forum at the moment , coz at the moment i am enjoying the -made in heaven synergy- of my RALmodded701'S with CanAmp, Huge soundstage, lots of detail, yet on a bit musical side.... But in case of hd650s it a huge dissapointment... I can' event...
