If it is 2x2 channel internally and I am feeding it through the usb port, it should be possibel i suppose.

Hi guys,   Does any knows if you can route different signals to the headphone and to the speakers? I mean if is this a two channel sound card or just single? Wanna use it with my dj controller and have the speakers out as main out and the headphones out for monitor.   cheers

Mine is between two gtx260's without the emi shield on and no noise issues at all. Will place back the shield after settled with a particular opamp setup though.

Oops, you are right. I've read it on the asus forums that it will work, but it could have been about the st. Sorry for that. I don't know how coud I not notice that the pin header for the h6 is not present on the stx . BTW, if you have any futher doubts you should contact asus support.

Sounds good but I don't know much about headphones (maybe I should), so I cannot say anything. Regarding the soundcard, I think you've made the right choice

I think it is a good idea if you are looking for surround sound, but if you are really into some serious listening to music (whatever genre it is) I suggest you to consider just pure stereo sound. It is the best way to enjoy music, since that is how they were made originally (for your plesure )...

I see. I guess i had some confusion with different terms, because the title on the datasheet for eg. the opa2134 is "audio opamp", while the opa2132 "FET-input opamp". Although reading through the full overview both carry the FET-input term.
