Shanling MTW100 - True Wireless IEMs, IPX7, BT5.0 Balanced armature or Dynamic driver
Having some trouble getting these working in stereo mode all of a sudden. The right bud powers on and says '2 earbuds pairing successful/connected' but the left earbud does not say 'power on' or anything. Slight hiss from the left and normal operation on the Right earbud. I can get the MTW100 L...- Adapada

1964 Ears
Quote: I sent mine in on July 3rd, they got there on the 8th, and I'm still waiting on a shipping notification. 16 business days so far, and the anticipation continues to build. I'm afraid by the time they get here I would have forgotten how much I paid for them- Adapada

Universal IEM for best midrange(vocals) w/removable cables budget $600
Why not go for some decent customs? 1964 Ears has their V6 for ~650 if you're willing to go just out of your budget, and I've heard and read very good things about them. You'll most likely get superior isolation and vocal clarity through customs as well- Adapada

the Audiologists impressions thread (pun most definitely intended ;) )
Quote: yeah, I had to wait a week before they had an appointment, but after filling out paperwork, I was in and out with impressions in.. 20-25 minutes. The woman who took my impressions was good about letting me know what she was doing. I'm getting 1964 EARS V3's, I missed the sale on them...- Adapada

the Audiologists impressions thread (pun most definitely intended ;) )
Had mine done about 2 weeks ago and sent them in. $50 for what appeared to be great quality impressions. I'll let you know how my CIEMs end up, still have another 1.5-2 weeks to wait til I get them- Adapada

Looking for suggestions for new headphones
I've had just a few IEM's that I loved, but none of them had the PERFECT fit. I'm looking for the most comfortable IEM/tip combo [as well as sound quality] (for relatively smaller ears) that I can possibly find for lets say for under $200. What do you all suggest? Are getting custom tips worth...- Adapada

Cheap custom IEMs?
Hey guys, I was wondering where I could get relatively cheap IEMs from. I like the fit of customs, but I don't really have the money to shell out for full fledged customs. If you guys could just help me, maybe? Thanks- Adapada

Ultimate Ears 700 Review (plus a few *bad* pictures)
I haven't heard the Super.fi 5 Pros, so I can't give you a direct comparison. Quote: Yeah, they are really tiny! They also fit really deep inside the ear. Quote:- Adapada

Ultimate Ears 700 Review (plus a few *bad* pictures)
Hey guys and gals, I'm reviewing my UE700's tonight for you all. I really want to say that eveyone will love these headphones, but sadly this is not the case. The 700s came in a wonderfully simple package. Headphones were clearly displayed, and there were several tips in the box on...- Adapada

Ultimate Ears 700 Help?
My initial thoughts are that the stock eartips don't fit my ear. But after putting my PFE tips on, sound pretty good. Bass is a little recessed, but certainly there for techno songs. Not thumping, but its BA, as opposed to my previous PL30s. Highs are EXCEPTIONAL! The highs are the most crisp...- Adapada

Ultimate Ears 700 Help?
Thanks! I got them for just under $100 shipped, so I consider that to be a pretty good deal. I plan on making the best fit, and if that happens with the tips I currently use (Phonak pfes) then so be it. Anything is a step above the PL30's now. BTW, I'm using a Cowon S9 and most (99%) of my...- Adapada

Ultimate Ears 700 Help?
Quote: Thanks, I got my 700s for $100 on amazon marketplace, and they are supposed to arrive tomorrow or Saturday. Quote: care to explain? Or describe how to get rid of it? I've heard that using foam tips reduces sibilance? What would you recommend as a good alternative?- Adapada

Ultimate Ears 700 Help?
Hey everyone, I recently ordered some Ultimate Ears (Logitech?) 700s and was wondering what I can expect from them, as I've only seen one review of them (pitting them against the QJays). What is the sound signature like? I'm upgrading from Soundmagic PL30's so I assume that everything will...- Adapada

How you got into head-fi
Hmm.... I guess I got into head-fi after i realized that the sound coming out of a friend's ipod+ stock headphones was terrible. I did a search for nicer, better sounds, and i discovered head-fi. I was on the iAudiophile forums for the l a few months (like in june) before coming here...- Adapada

Are you getting/have you gotten the H1N1 flu vaccine?
I am not getting the vaccine, mostly because I feel that it isnt necessary (I'm perfectly healthy, in shape (sort of), and eat properly. My school recently had 3 days of 350+ people missing (total pop. of school is only 1100) all with the Swine Flu. I was not one of them. I hate Media...- Adapada

SoundMAGIC Pl30 suggestions for replacement eartips
Hi everyone! I just joined today, and I was wondering what you used as replacement eartips for the soundMAGIC pl30's. I find that the tips that come with the headphones are too small for my ears. Any suggestions for me?- Adapada
