    Verifying dt770 premium impedance

My headphones don't have the impedance stamped at the end of the cable. Maybe I'll borrow a multimeter someday but for now I really like the sound so I don't care that much what version it is

    Verifying dt770 premium impedance

Oh, what a relief! But I should've known this before so that I'd have probably gone for the 600ohm version. Thank you so much for your help!

    Verifying dt770 premium impedance

I just got a pair of dt770 premium 250 ohm from ebay today. The headphone was listed as new open box item. I briefly listened to it and found that they produce similar volume as my Akg 702s do when either plugged straight into my laptop or amp. Plus...when set on high gain, my UHA3 is able to...

    (Another) ATH-M50 Review

Quote: Very likely, I was actually considering getting these phones but scared by the fakes. Read this thread: http://www.head-fi.org/forum/thread/513866/has-the-fake-ath-m50-arrived Audio-technica is so heavily faked by the Chinese.....So disappointing.

Quote:   I'm actually hoping to get phones with large sound stage and deep clear bass so that it gives me a big but clear image of the whole orchestra and where the symphony is going. Do you think k701 is of that kind?   I've seen m-stage on the forum so many times, but actually...

Quote: I read that k701 has smooth and relaxing sound. Do you think it would have a clear but deep bass to reproduce a symphony? Thanks.

Thanks for your reply.    Honestly I don't have much experience with headphones and I'm wondering how bad can the sound go for k701 or hd 650 without an amp if they are plug onto a desktop computer, or decent CD player (not the portable ones but those full-sized CD players used for Hi-fis)...

So as I said in the topic, please help me to choose a pair of headphones. I was looking at sennheiser hd 650s but would hd 600 be much different? I heard they are pretty much the same. If I buy hd 650s I would have no money left for a good amp. Do you think at this stage it's better for me...
