Domino's Pizza changing its pizza
I've tried the new pizza a couple of times. It's really not changed that much, I would say I like it better, but keep in mind it's dominos so it won't blow you away. I only order it all the time cause I can't haul my lazy ass down to the University Center for some food So in the end Old...- JaxM

20kHz+ Hypersonic Effect in IEMs?
I would like to point out that in the studies that contradict this one the questions were slightly different. This study asked which piece of music the participants liked better/ which was more moving. They liked the ones with the ultra HF best. In the studies where those gifted with golden ears...- JaxM

Denon 5000 Ear Canal hurts
The Denons are some of the most comfortable and light headphones I've ever had. I would find it hard to believe that it is a pressure issue. If it's also not a volume issue, I would have to ask is it only Denons? If you are listening hours at a time it could just be the listening itself.- JaxM

Ah hell, I hate this feeling. Fathers & Sons, step inside...
I'm gonna have to go with the group here and say go with the shotgun. Shooting with my Dad is great bonding time. You can always get the cans later, plus something even better may have come out by then if you can hold off the urge to upgrade :P- JaxM

Denon AH-D2000 + Fiio E5
The $200 Denons are a great deal and I would say jump on it, but the E5 just wont cut it amp wise. A solid amp really is necessary to get the very best out of the Denons.- JaxM

RE0, SRH440, or SR60?
X2 on the RE-0 listening to mine right now Just so you know, they are not heavy in the bass department if you are a bass-head I find the bass to be perfectly acceptable though. As for amping they can be driven with out an amp (I'm using one) so I assume the Fiio would work, though I don't have...- JaxM

Close to buying Denon AH-D2000s, should I get an amp?
Some people have said they like them even w/o an amp, but the vast majority agree that an amp is essential to get them most out of these phones- JaxM

How much of a difference from $100 to $400?
It all about diminishing returns. Will there be as big a difference as your first move to better phones? Probably not. Will there still be a very noticeable difference? I think so. The Denon d2000 were selling for 200 on amazon last time I checked maybe two days ago. If you like the denon sound...- JaxM

Can anyone recommend an iem like the re0 but with more bass response?
I agree on the better amp option. I'm listening to mine out of my pico and the bass clearly improves. Obviously you don't have to go out and buy a pico, but I would investigate some amps beyond the e5. That said the RE-0 will never be a bass heavy phone, it's up to you. I would audition an amp...- JaxM

It is a well respected company on this forum. When I ordered my pico amp/dac I had absolutely no problems. Try one more time, perhaps Justin is backlogged.- JaxM
