    DIY suggestions amp DAC

I need an amp and DAC. My budget is about $300 and building it should not be an issue. I have seen some kits by amb, L'espressivo, and Bijou. Twisted Pear has some kits for DAC also. What are some recommendations/what have other people built and enjoyed.

Tube vs Solid, Seperate DAC or combo

So I have a pair of Ultrasone Pro 750. I now need to power them. I have a few issues first. I will be using my Laptop as my primary source for now but will be getting another source at some time. I have gotten a bunch of suggestions and it seems that even though a bunch of people like the...

Need to power some Pro 750's

I just got some Ultrasone Pro 750's and now I need an amp. My main source unit will be my laptop so I need a DAC/amp. I have about $300 to spend. Many people have bumped the Compass, Zero, iBasso D10, and Bresford. What is everyone's opinion? A multi input (rca/usb/optical) would be preferred.

I want to know the best way to get the most outta my 750's, eg USB DAC/amp. I do not want to spend a fortune (under 300) but I want my system to sound good. Any...

    Closed cans recomendations

I want to get a pair of closed cans for use with my laptop's sound card and some ipod usage. I already own some Klipsch Image S4 (which I highly recommend for IEMs for the price) for my ipod but now I want something more substantial. I want closed cans and I do not have an amplifier. I want...

    Sennheiser, AKG, Grado...

I need a new pair of cans. I am around the $150 or so range. I like having good quality bass in my headphones and from what I have read I'm skeptical of Sennheiser. AKG looks promising with their AKG K242HD or even the K240S. I have also heard a few good things about the Grado SR125i. Might as...
