    T+A Solitaire T Wireless Headphone

I don't know. There was a post in here earlier about the wiring, but I think that was for balanced.

    T+A Solitaire T Wireless Headphone

I bought one from https://www.audiophileninja.com/product/ta-solitaire/ It doesn't have the threaded end, and the rough sleeve makes it transmit sound when rubbed against clothing, but it's good quality. That may not be what you're looking for.

New Dali iO-12 ANC Headphones – Impressions Thread

There aren't any firmware updates yet, that I know of.

Right. Teams or any other call. Phone, zoom, whatever.

New Dali iO-12 ANC Headphones – Impressions Thread

Fixed, as in, cannot be adjusted. It was too loud for calls for me (someone else mentions the same a couple pages back). They may fix this in firmware. The Solitaire sound stage is fine for me, but I preferred the Dali. I didn’t keep the Bathys for long, and I didn’t have them at the same time...

New Dali iO-12 ANC Headphones – Impressions Thread

For the Solitaire, the size worked better for me. The ear pads of the Dali also made me hear my heartbeat very loud, which was distracting. There are Bluetooth calling issues with the Dali as well, see the thread (mic is bad, volume is fixed, etc.)

New Dali iO-12 ANC Headphones – Impressions Thread

I've had (and returned) both. I greatly preferred the IO-12 in all aspects. Sound stage, clarity, comfort. If not for a few things I would have kept it. I ended up with the Solitaire T, but I think I preferred the sound of the IO-12 slightly.

    T+A Solitaire T Wireless Headphone

Were you on a call? If I'm connected to multiple devices and on a call, I hear "Connected" every 30-60 seconds. I have to disconnect from the second device. I've reported this to T+A, and I'd encourage you to do the same.

    T+A Solitaire T Wireless Headphone

Could someone with a Solitaire T and another Bluetooth over-ear headset please compare the microphone volume between those two headsets on an iPhone? You can use voice memo to record your voice. My ST mic seems to have very low volume (12 db lower) compared to my QC 35 II. I don't know if it was...

My guess was input/output given that they have a mic.

    T+A Solitaire T Wireless Headphone

Thanks. I've got a used one coming tomorrow... I may very well have wasted some money on it, but we'll see. I'll be comparing it to an RME Babyface Pro FS, which supposedly has a very good DAC, but a lower powered amp (I know this likely doesn't matter since the ST are easy to drive).

New Dali iO-12 ANC Headphones – Impressions Thread

I've had both. Never did it ever seem like the T+A had more bass or too much bass. If anything they felt lacking, but that's probably me being used to Bose. The larger drivers of the IO-12 could be felt more. Btw, IO-12 has more bass w/ ANC on. Turn it off to get less.

New Dali iO-12 ANC Headphones – Impressions Thread

I've tried both. I kept the ST and I like the sound there in many songs, but I agree that in some it sounds a bit tin-can-like. I don't know what causes that. Something like the Daft Punk album doesn't have much oomph to it. I don't know how to explain it. But then I listen to some acoustic...

New Dali iO-12 ANC Headphones – Impressions Thread

There is now an open box IO-12 on audio46.com. It’s probably mine since they just processed my return. They are basically perfect. None of the accessories/box were even touched and I didn’t even take the sticker off the side of the headphone. Hopefully one of you all can score it. Enjoy!

Interesting. Do you notice any audio quality improvements with the Mojo 2 at all? Or is it more or less the same as HQ mode?

Wanted to share a track I just listened to on the ST. A pretty amazing acoustic guitar and vocal performance that sounds great on the ST. Keith Don't Go (Live) by Nils Lofgren https://tidal.com/browse/track/29113109

    T+A Solitaire T Wireless Headphone

I got a replacement Solitaire T today. I left them on the firmware they came on, 4.1.5, rather than update to 4.2.1. They haven't done the "Connecting" thing while on a call and connected to two devices, which is awesome. I'm not going to update in case that was it unless someone knows how to...

New Dali iO-12 ANC Headphones – Impressions Thread

I'm not angelom, but I did try them. If you ever use ANC without any music, there's a high enough noise floor (hiss) that it was annoying to me. They claim to have sidetone, but it doesn't work. The mics aren't great in the wind. Other than that, they were comfortable, and sounded pretty good. I...

    T+A Solitaire T Wireless Headphone

And, unfortunately in this case, they botched the implementation such that it won't hold a connection to a second device if you are on a call. I have to disconnect from my second device so that I don't get "Connected" in my ear every 30-60 seconds. I hope they fix this, but given what I'm...

    T+A Solitaire T Wireless Headphone

How long hav you had yours? I believe I'll be getting a replacement set here soon. Hopefully it fixes some of the issues. I'm guessing the bluetooth "Connected" issue is firmware related, and hoping they fix that in time. It's a good sign that they added mulitpoint, that's in stark contrast to...

    T+A Solitaire T Wireless Headphone

Because of the noticeable noise increase, I’m not sure that even a tone is necessary, but I wouldn’t be opposed to it as an alternative if no sound wasnt and option. Agreed that the voice itself is reasonable. The Dali is similar in this regard Speaking of tones, has anyone heard a high...

    T+A Solitaire T Wireless Headphone

Same, for a feature that's meant to help you hear things, it's pretty obvious that taking a few seconds to tell you it's turning on isn't the right design.

    T+A Solitaire T Wireless Headphone

Do I get the power from the mojo2 or would I be entirely reliant on the MA400? In other words, would I need to add another amp after that? Also, how would volume control from the OS work? Does that sync w/ the Mojo2 and I'd have to avoid using it?
