Quick Super Mini Moy Question
Thanks for the info. It looks like I'll probably use regular alkaline 9v's for now. The £35 (battery & charger) will probably be a good investment in the future.- Hier

WAV, Lossless & The Power of The Mind
Naim Nait 5 amp (+ Naim Stageline), B&W P5 Speakers (+ Nac A5 cable), Marantz DR6000 CD Recorder, Linn LP12 Turntable (Ittok IV II arm + Goldring 1022GX Cartridge). Saving up for a Naim CD5X & possibly a Naim power amp to pair up with the Nait 5. I should add all of this to my non-existent sig...- Hier

Quick Super Mini Moy Question
I managed to track down a UK seller if anyone is interested: http://www.mahaenergy.co.uk/acatalog/c490f1.html Too expensive for me at the moment. £35 would probably be best spent elsewhere for my portable set-up. I suppose that my main concern when starting this thread was whether or...- Hier

WAV, Lossless & The Power of The Mind
I received a cable today for connecting the iPod to my Naim Nait5 amp. I decided to do some more tests through my amp and B&W P5 speakers. The result: Differences between the AAC 320 and Lossless were even more dramatic. Before buying the iPod I had always intended using it with my home...- Hier

Ipod - Mini to Din - Naim Connection?
I'm looking at the possibility of connecting my iPod up to my Naim Nait 5 amp. Does anyone know if its possible to get a mini to Din cable for this purpose? Alternatively I suppose I could use a Chord RCA to Din out of something like the Onkyo DS-A1.- Hier

Interesting thread so far. From what I'd read on Head-fi I had figured that amping the iPod was the best way to go. Perhaps I ought to audition a few headphones before progressing. Thanks to everyone for the info.- Hier

Go Vibe UK
I'd pretty much settled on the Go Vibe as an intro amp. After all of the agro over the Super Mini Moy the Go Vibe seems to be the best option at the moment: especialy with the extra op-amp offer! For better or worse I've already got a PocketDock, so the cable upgrades are already in my...- Hier

Yes I've already got the PocketDock, and I can't say I've had any trouble with it staying put. I could easily sell it on eBay, but I'm put off by the superfluous cable on the SIK, and I don't like the idea of cutting the firewire cable off. I also think its a good idea to have the option...- Hier
