Try the new Shure headphones. Shure SRH840. It supposedly has the Shure SE530's killer midrange and bass with a much more lively treble response.

I use the large gray silicon sleeves on both my Westone 3 and Shure SE530's. I experience no sibilance on either earphones.

Every earphone has a filter type mesh in at the far back of the sound nozzle that serves 2 purposes. Prevents things from entering and damaging the driver and it shapes the sound signature. Do custom earphones have filters?
