Hi All, First off ... Sennheiser is the only good brand available in india.I know (or read) there are better headphones for around 100$,but cannot buy them without warrenty. Please tell me if there is any other senn i can consider apart from HD555.. I will start comparing ....

I got mine just 2 days back...I can feel the slight amount of harshness that is there in RE2 for the first few hours but after burning in for 20hrs,they are on a differnet level.I think RE2 is definiltely lacking bass but here it is adequate.But again no comparisions to RE2 at all.

I am wondering where would anyone place the AT-M50's.. Above AD700's and HD555's somewhere in between..

Initially i considered MS1 but lack of soundstage was a huge let off for me.I am a little sceptical that AD's do not have bass at all like the er6i's but, your thoughts abt these are really convincing..and again i think posting a new thread makes a huge difference here... I have already spent...

from what i read here,bass on AD700 is literally non-existing..is it true?

soundstage and bass both are important to me...at the same time i dont want some thing as warm as HD202...
