A47 AMP problems
I have received my A47 headphone amp, but i seem to have a few problems. Since the amp doesn't have [ground?] the maker of the amp says that I have to use 2 9vs and use the connecting part of the 9vs as ground. I tested the amps today, and it seems like it works for around 10 seconds, and then I...- blawh

DIY Cable Gallery!!
Hi guys, I was thinking about recabling my headphones, but I seem to have thought of a problem that occur: Don't I need 4 cables to recable my headphones? Right positive, Right negative, Left positive, and Left negative? A 3.5mm plug only has 3 places to solder on, Right, Left, and Ground! blawh.- blawh

Portable Amplifier Enclosure?
Anything I can use other than potting compound to "dip" the amplifier into to make a hard case? Living in Shanghai, China doesn't help! If I have no choice, would the method of using hot glue work? Or would the heat from the hot glue damage components?- blawh

Portable Amplifier Enclosure?
I was thinking about making an enclosure for this amp: It is too long to fit an altoids tin, so I was wondering if covering the components with hot glue/any other things that dry up hard. That way it would still be small, and at the same time be rugged- blawh

Good Amp?
Since I would want to use this in a portable way without an enclosure, i was wondering if covering all the components would make the amplifier more rugged, but would the hotness of the glue damage some components?- blawh

Good Amp?
Since this is a bare PCB, would it be possible for me to cover it with hot glue for portable uses, or would the hotness of the glue damage the amplifier?- blawh

Interconnect with PSU wire?
I have an extra PSU, and since its extremely old, i was wondering if i would use the wires attached to the motherboard and other devices to create a 3.5mm interconnect? Also, would it work for CAT5 Ethernet cable?- blawh

Good Amp?
Is this a decent headphone amplifier? What is comparable to this amp? It is called a 47 Headphone Amp. This is really cheap and on a chinese site, but I cant seem to find anything about it! EDIT: pictures added- blawh
