CMoy help: volume control at RS?

Try part number 249-9159 at RS Electronics - it's an Alps dual 10K logarithmic potentiometer, cost - £2.00+charges. I've seen these used on various projects in this forum, particularly CMoys (of which I have still yet to build mine, like you, got most of the parts but not quite everything!). I...

    op-amp from Maplins (UK)

The CMoy is not a commercial product - it is a project designed for enthusiasts! eBay is your best bet, or otherwise chat on the Buy/Sell/Trade forums! Best of luck,

    Most Comfortable Headphones?

HD-570s are extremely comfortable! I use mine hours a day on my computer and forget they're on. They're 5 years old now, and only had to replace the cable once (which was my fault). It's great how a lot of the parts simply snap off so that you can clean them, then put it all back together again...

    Slighty O/T: Headphone logo

On a similar theme, does anyone know how I could get something printed onto a metal casing? Either black print onto a silver/aluminium metal casing or white print onto black painted metal casing. Any ideas on how/where I'd get this done (in short runs) would be greatly received!!

Amp in the UK for Sennheiser HD570s

Cheers for all your opinions. The Chiarra seems to be winning - at that price on eBay it seems an excellent choice! Shame about the case...I guess that's what you get with DIY kits. Perhaps some of us should put a few ideas together for a real neat Chiarra enclosure? Having read through the...

Amp in the UK for Sennheiser HD570s

The 570s are good, but take quite a bit of driving (having read other posts in the forum), and they are renowned for needing good bass from the source. Those amps look cool...I also heard that the Musical Fidelity XCans V.3 works well with Sennheisers - any thoughts?

Amp in the UK for Sennheiser HD570s

Hi, I'm new to this forum, but have been looking for a good headphone amp for my Sennheiser HD570 headphones for quite some time now. Whilst having owned the headphones for over 4 years now, they're still superb and I want to upgrade my hifi equipment soon to (hopefully) a Cyrus CD8 CD...
