Sorry, I'm still a little confused--when I said I used Bluetooth for the first time today I meant it was literally the first time I've ever used Bluetooth to connect two devices. (I like the old-school tech) I guess what I meant was, is there a way to output the Bluetooth signal at maximum...

Is it possible to output a line level Bluetooth signal, for devices that have their own volume control? I used Bluetooth for the first time today and was a little surprised that the volume knob on the DAP still worked, even when I set the output mode to LO.

I thought this player had access to the full Android app store. Is this true? All I can find is the list of FiiO recommended applications, mostly other music apps. (This is my first real Android device, still figuring things out)

I did it on Linux, using a Python script I wrote myself. I had to plug the SD card directly into my computer mount it as a normal filesystem instead of MTP--not exactly optimal, but luckily I don't plan on syncing this player too often. The two SD card slots map to the directories...

Just got my M11. It's enormous! I'm mostly pleased so far. I've figured out how to sync playlists onto it. Am I restricted to accessing the onboard memory and SD cards via MTP unless I take the cards out? Is it just me, or does the "jump to a letter" strip on the right side of the FiiO music...

Is anyone planning on bringing a portable source/DAP? I'm shopping around for a new one and would love to try out anything I can. I will be bringing my FiiO X5II.

Very interested in this DAC. Can anyone with Linux comment on the experience of getting them to work with each other? My current HRT MusicStreamer II+ works perfectly when connected with no setup required and I just want to make sure the V800 will as well.

The Violectric V800 looks promising since transparency is my primary concern. One condition I forgot to mention is that the DAC must work with Linux as that is what my laptop runs. Will that be an issue with any of these DACs?

Thanks, that backstory would have been helpful. I didn't realize there was such a debate going on. Could anyone explain why actively grounding the balanced channel might be detrimental? What if I only connected the active ground board to a single-ended channel and not to the balanced channel...
