    Which headphones/headset should I get for gaming?

    Sennheiser HD 555 seems to be popular. And Creative Aurvana Live is a slightly modified rebrand of the Denon AH-D1001. Those two would probably be my best bet. If you are willing to buy through Amazon.co.uk, then Audio-Technica AD700 should be a good buy.
