Just chiming in, I have no issues with fit whatsoever for the W3000ANV. If anything I think the fit is more tight than loose! Of all the AT headphones that I do own/have owned, the only one that i had problems with was the A2000X which were super loose. Would love to try out the W5000 or W1000X...

Yeah I don't find the bass to be lacking. Never heard the W1000X before though, but I'm pretty happy with the bass quantity with the W3000ANV.
