I can get the HD497's now or wait and get the HD555's. What I am wondering is, is there a huge difference with the sound on the HD555's over the HD497's? If I did get the HD497's now I plan on getting the HD555's late summer when I should have more funds. Thx.

I have the KSC35's and am wondering if going to the HD497's would be a good upgrade if any at all?

I know the Grado Sr-60's are higher but do they blow the KSC35's out of the water? I want to get something better than the KSC35's but don't want to spend to much. Will I see a big difference with sound quality?

Can get the KSC50's for $20 cheaper than the PC100's and would prefer to go that route if there isnt a huge sound difference. I've had the KSC's befores and they broke(my fault). Would prefer opinions from ppl whoes heard both.
