Dumb question of the day: I see that there are small high quality amps with dac functionality, and that's like 98% of music playback hardware you need. So why not cover that 2% and install a music player in there too? And aren't those dacs usb-only, so they don't work with portable players?

Does anyone know when there are going to be flash players over 1gb? There are already reasonably priced 2gb and 4gb compact flash cards, so to my logic there should be players also. Can these big cards used on any a player with CF slot? JJ

I had muvo2 but returned it because of bad sound quality. The sound was thin and "uninvolving", and bass was weak. Sound was very clean though, no hissing or anything. I compared it to my Sony MZ-R900 (MD) with EX71 and Koss KSC-35. Sony was way better. Finally I Got 1 gig Iriver IFP which...
