How many CD's are people taking along? I don't know whether to bring my favourite 5 or bring as many as I can so people can listen to whatever they fancy (as this hobby is all about music after all)

I've made a simple sheet for the stand. If anyone wants me to do one for them, PM me and I'll sort you out.

Thanks for posting the guide, even though most of it is common sense it should help things run smoother. I'd like one of those stands please.

UK Meet (UPDATED!) - Saturday November 7th 2009

I'm excited My Minimax should be here any day now, it's just been released from customs. I'll most likely be bringing a Yahama CDP with me aswell just so that I have a source for people to use with my amp, I guess having more amps than sources will cause queues :P

I'm very intested in this, I've only just recently got into the higher end of headphones. I'm local so I won't need a room at the hotel. I can bring my HD600 w/ Oehlbach cable and my Millet Hybrid MiniMax (boutique), it's possible that I'll have a DacMagic by then so I'll bring that along...

How to connect X-Fi Sound Card to external DAC?

As said above, you need a 3.5mm to RCA adapter. I used one with my X-Fi Music -> Beresford with a Coax cable.
