    HD600 Buzzing in right channel

Seems we have about the same issue here, but on different headphones. You could try blowing at the driver and see if that moves any particle in there.

    Got my PS-1000 today... broken?

Ah, yes... that person seems to have had a similiar issue, maybe it was a temporary glitch. I'll certainly give them some burn in time before going through the motions of a warranty claim.   Thanks for the reply!

    Got my PS-1000 today... broken?

Hmm... looked carefully and couldn't see any hairs. But I blew into the driver cover and surprisingly after that it vanished for about a minute before it came back again, I blew into the cover again and it seems to have vanished for the moment. I really can't see anything loose in there, but...

    Got my PS-1000 today... broken?

Hi!   So... after waiting for over a year I finally got my PS-1000 headphones, no 763. Right... so they sound just lovely and they are everything the GS-1000 weren't to me, I even like them more than the RS-1's.   So I've been listening to them for a few hours now, and I figured it was...

    Best upgrade from SR60's?

Well, I went from noname crap to the SR-80's, which was quite a revelation. Now I've had the RS-1's for some weeks and while there's a difference it just isn't as huge as the first step from junk to SR-80. So for me the "wow-feeling" wasn't instant. But! After a few weeks of usage the RS-1's...

    X-CANV8, quick question

Ok, might be posted here somewhere, but at least I didn't see it in the first few pages - just noticed that Musical Fidelity call it the X-CANV8P now, anyone know what the "P" stands for?

What cost more - your cans or your car?

'88 Volvo 740 and '93 Daimler DoubleSix - I think a reasonable price for both would be about $1500. So yeah, headphones are going to win here.

Just a quick update if anyone's interested. Ordered a pair of RS1's today... and also pair of PS1000's (no. need. to. say. a thing. I know, I know). Hopefully it'll all be here in 3 weeks.

I think I might've been a bit misleading about the source, it's not exclusively streaming music - just happened to fancy that radio station. However, most of it is mp3 files of assorted quality, if I can get a FLAC version of something I usually do, occasionally a regular CD gets played too...

    Cans for begginers (100$)

Well, I'd echo SR80 as it's a set of headphones I've been very satisfied with, but I can understand if some prefer others, the downsides I found was that they're not the most comfortable, at least after a longer session of usage which has been pointed out. Also they tend let in a lot of...

Grado GS1000...something's not right here (newbie)

Many thanks for the many impressions this far! After some pondering, I've decided to order the RS-1's to see if I like them better, as many have recommended. But I'm keeping the GS1000's for now, I will take them to a hifi shop and compare them to another pair, they will probably also have...

Wow. Domo arigatou for all the replies this far! =) I'm off for a while now, will digest all this information and return tomorrow. Edit: Quote: I would concur that they may be defective. Also, as they say..crap in---->crap out. The new cans are much more revealing and it may be...

Right, I've had SR80's for some years now, and I've always appreciated them - been using them with my PC, and sometimes with my piano. Anyway, a while ago a dog managed to get herself tangled up in them and did a violent pull (they still work, if one feels like holding the wires all the time)...
