xDuoo X2 - small lossless player with microSD and OLED!
i'm using the X2 with the KZ HDS1 and a dunuu 75ohms adapter to blacken the hiss: in this configuration, imho, the xduoo is far better than the sansa: wide soundstage, micro-details, and a lot of power ! You have to accept a more basic UI for the X2, the use of mp3tags to remove the...- patrick_bateman

xDuoo X2 - small lossless player with microSD and OLED!
Well,i'm a bit disappointed, i transfered all my sansa folders to the xduoo and i have A LOT of "format error" on the flac albums. I used mp3tag to remove the tag but still, it does not read the file. I hope i won't have to re-convert all thoses files... Except that (which is really...- patrick_bateman

xDuoo X2 - small lossless player with microSD and OLED!
Just got my xduoo x2: with the KZ HDS1 sound is good but there's hiss, and i hate hiss. Lucky me, i have a 75 ohms dunu impedance adapter, with it everything is blackened, the hiss disappears and the sound reveals it's true nature: for me, it's far better than the sansa clip, soundstage is...- patrick_bateman

The HLLY TAMP-90 : TA2022 tryout
Here is the last but one review about the HLLY amplifiers. Sorry about the delay, i had a lot of work recently, but here it is ! So this review will be about the TAMP-90. Built around the TA2022 chipset, this amplifier differs from the others Tripath chipsets by the power it delivers: 45...- patrick_bateman

The HLLY TAMP-10 : TA2024 tryout
After enjoying for few days the TAMP-20 equipped with the famous Tripath chipset TA2020, I wondered about the sound I could get with a more powerful chipset like theTA2022. Having lately won a pair of Klipsch RB2 speakers in a contest, I decided to associate them with the TAMP-20 . But this...- patrick_bateman

The HLLY TAMP-20 : TA2020 tryout
Katysax> I can explain. I bought this amp cause i wanted to give a try to the TA2020, i have no link with HLLY, i'm just a customer. After receiving the amplifier, the seller and i discussed by mail. I told the guy that his product is great but that i couldn't find any review about it...- patrick_bateman

The HLLY TAMP-20 : TA2020 tryout
Before starting the writing of this review, I have to explain how I got to listen to an amplifier as small as seducing. I won a few years ago a contest organised by the biggest French hifi forum HCFR (homecinema-fr.com • Voir le sujet - CONCOURS KORA, and the Winner is...), and the prize...- patrick_bateman
