I went the same route trading up to RS1's from 225's. If you love the Grado sound the RS1 does everything the 225 does, but just that bit better. Sounds best to me with tape modded bowls - listening to Rammstein right now - just awesome. RS1's do acoustic/electric guitar beautifully.

Ok - so now I'm confused. No box unfortunately - my Ebay purchase came posted in a Grado hard headphone case. The drivers don't appear to be pink but I'll get some decent photos on here tomorrow when I get some daylight.

The new Prodigy album sounds incredible through my 225's - I have done the taped bowl mod to increase the bass. Track 2 'Omen' is a great track to compare headphones to - the difference between the sr60 and the 225 is big.

I see they are only £10 more than the 125's as well

Good price (for UK). Go for it - you certainly won't regret the upgrade.

I own both sr60 and sr225. Having spent time extensively comparing the two I can honestly say the 225's destroy the 60's in all areas. Bigger soundstage, bigger bass, bigger everything. Only makes me wonder what higher up models sound like.
