Genelecs need an amp or not?
Being Bi-Amped is part of being an active monitor and it also tells you that the speaker has built in amps.- Wraithetc

beats by dr. dre worth it?
They are somewhat Bass Heavy. Its not Bass heavy like most other bassy headphones though. It seems bassy because the bass sounds feel like they are everywhere. Its like the whole sound spectrum has bass in it. The intensity of the bass isn't nearly as much as a factor in their bassyness. It...- Wraithetc

Little Dot MKIII question
The seller was unaware the amp was 220V and was running it on 110V. How he didn't notice it sounded like butt is beyong me. I picked up a transformer at Frys and OH BOY DOES IT SOUND GOOD when its actually working. Wowzorz. You guys are not lying about the HD650 being super scaling with amping.- Wraithetc

Little Dot MKIII question
I think the power tubes are going. The distortion comes in both channels at higher volumes. So basically if the tubes are stressed they are getting messed up I suppose. Fuzzy logic. My tubes don't glow much at all either. I see a small glowing filament but its nothing like pictures I've seen...- Wraithetc

Why do Metallica endorse Metalli-Cans Skullcandy Hesh and Lowrider???
Metallica is crap so they would naturally be attracted to other forms of crap. I wouldn't give them the credit for just making money off the endorsement.- Wraithetc

EXTREME/HARSH burn-in of Beyerdynamic DT 770 80ohm = dt770 80ohm>>>>>Sennheiser HD650. SHAME ON YOU HEAD-FI!!!!!!!!!!!!
I also have the DT 770 pro 80 and Sennheiser 650's. I mainly listen to Rap/Hip Hop but the rest of my music is pretty varied there just isn't a large quantity of it. I like my 650's more overall because of their ability to keep the lows/mids/highs "balanced" during music that has a lot of...- Wraithetc

DT 770 Pro bass
I think they seem more bassy than they are because the mids are pretty recessed. The mids on my Hd-650's seem 'louder' with less volume than my Dt 770's even though the impedance on the 650s is much higher.- Wraithetc
