Bringing up an old thread.. I am aware of the bad things said about the uDac2. That being said I already own the piece of equipment. Im buying the hifiman he-400 and im looking for an amp/dac combo to hook em up with. I wonder whether the udac2 would manage as a DAC paired up with an amp...

I failed to search if this has been discussed but..   If you have heard your ie8 with the nuforce uDacs headphone amp, how does it sound? Does it generate hiss? How it affects on the SQ. How is the synergy between the two compared to ie8 and some other(fairly cheap) amps? Thanks in advance!

Hi I've read quite alot about the uDac but i haven't seen anything regarding uDac+ie8. Some are saying that it increases warmth to their phones and some that it gives more control to bass department (tho those arent exclusive). probably its about the synergy between 2 devices.   So...
