Just got this over the weekend and is still trying to burn them in. This has to be one of the better IEM by Audio-Technica and very well-priced. IMO the IM03 is the best bang for the buck. Guys, this is a GEM in the making. 

i tried the ibasso d3 on the K701.... i find it rather difficult to drive this pair of cans..feel like pushing a cart upslope.

grados are easy to drive but still....without an amp, the potential cannot be unveiled.

well, i tried the SR-80..SR325i, RS2, then MS Pro. All against an iBasso D3. The quality changes significantly between each of them. It can be the bass, the treble, the comfort, the warmth. But yes, they are very different. Each of the highend cans are worth the extra dime invested.

where are the alessandro ones made by grado ? i would vote for the MS Pro anytime =)

just gotten a pair off someone who wants to upgrade to a K702 for about US$200. I must say its rather comfy...the pads are soft and rests nicely on my ears. let's see how long i can last before my ears experience weight fatigue. lol

knopi, i totally agree with you. after 1 week of burn-in....the quality coming out of this cans is totally different. now i am loving every inch of it.

i realised the amp plays an important part in distorting the sound...been using a ibasso D3 dac + amp with an alessandro ms pro....it sounds really bad when i play trance or rock. however when i took the amp out...it rocks. fundamentally, the top grade cans are really top grade.

anyone facing problems playing music with heavy bass off this pair of cans?

Tested the RS2 and MS Pro at the shop today and i must say the MS Pro won me over despite the slightly steeper price. The sound of the MS Pro was much richer and you can just hear the effort put into enhancing the bass. Now i am a happy owner of a MS Pro and i am pampering it with some burn-in...
