I've tried it in the J&R, don't like the overwhelming bass, maybe it's because of the bass I felt it's towards to the warm side. for Rap, Hip pop, Jazz. Rock is good, for all others No I don't think so.

when you get the EX700LP make sure you burn it in. make a huge difference.

the only thing that stop me for doing the upgrade is the ridiculous pricing of the 1.8 HD 120G for 190USD. almost the price to buy a IPC which has the 120G HD inside. maybe I will go for the 80G or 60G which pricing around 100.

I just got a interesting idea, As using IMOD+VCAP+P51 3 bricks, what about IHP140+D10(preAMP)+P51(or anyother AMPs), this set up maybe better than the IMOD setup

It's good but not much refined. cuz the basic setup kind of the same. If your DIY can make it the same size as a T4 then it's a different story.

there are so many different formats out in the market for HIFI AUDIO, I think there should be some sort of organization uniform the formats, real wasting effects to protect their own little territory.

It also depends on the earphone and the amp that you use.

As I experienced all little dot amps are on the warm side. if you like warm go with the little dot.
