Difference in MP3 player sound quality?

I haven't done a side by side test, but I'm pretty sure my Dell DJ sounds better than an iPod with Senn PX200s. So chalk up another one for "Player A" sounds better than "Player B."

    Pitchfork's top 50 of 2003 is up

markl, How do you know the list is narrowly-focused if you've only heard of 40% of the artists? Not that Pitchfork has a perfect list here (Rapture number one, uhh...), but perhaps you could provide a link to a list that provides what you feel is a more balanced view of the year's best music.

Why did you first come to head-fi?

I was just looking for any site with advice from real, knowledgeable people (not pro reviews) that would tell me the best values in the headphone world. That site was Headwize, and the rest is history.

    Coldplay's two albums

I've noticed that the word boring is getting thrown around a lot here. My brother listens to coldplay all the time and yeah, boring is the word that always jumps into my head too. BUT, like others have said, there are some good songs on the first album.

The Mars Volta - De-loused in the Comatorium = GREAT

Wow, it seems that Cedric Bixler (I think that's it) took some singing lessons or something because his voice is much improved compared to say, Relationship of Command. At least that was my impression upon first listen to De-Loused. Well either way minya is right I think, the record is very...
