Monoprice Hi-Fi DJ Style Headphone Review
First, a thank you to Dsnuts. I haven't been doing much headphones wise lately but a late night Amazon session (looking for noise cancelling headphones actually; ended up with a pair of Phillips HN 110's that do their job nicely but aren't all that great otherwise) led me to the Kickers, and I...- urinsane

Dangers of in ear headphones and flying?
Not all planes have headphone jacks now though. I recently flew down to Cancun and neither of the planes I flew in had them, at least not in coach.- urinsane

Dangers of in ear headphones and flying?
Also, they make you turn off your electronics before takeoff and landing, so you would probably have them out of your ears during the pressure buildup parts anyways.- urinsane

Sound Card Hiss
I have actually decided to use my onboard sound for now. I found out that I have a Cmedia onboard audio chip, and it is supposedly one of the better onboard solutions. I switched because even when listening to lossless formats I noticed occasional popping noises throughout my music with my SB...- urinsane

Computer headphones. Preferably no amp
I just bought the Sony V6 for a general use headphone, but the majority of the time using it will be spent connected to my computer. I, too, play a lot of FPS games, and because of this I attend LANs occasionally, and wanted something that I could easily bring with me. The V6's fold up nice and...- urinsane

My SR-60's came today!
My V6's just came today. My first >$20 headphone! So far I am loving them, way more comfortable than my old Sony's. They exposed a nasty hiss from my soundcard, but now that I have that under control it is great!- urinsane

Sound Card Hiss
By disable do you mean mute? I have done that for everything except wave volume. And yeah, a budget is a good idea. I had planned on being able to live with the less than optimum quality of my sound card for awhile, but this hiss is too annoying to live with for long. Oh and aren't there...- urinsane

Sound Card Hiss
After a lot of research here and other places, I bought my first pair of >$20 headphones, some Sony V6's. I'm enjoying them quite a bit, but unfortunately they have made it very apparent that my current sound card has a fairly bad hiss. The sound card is (unfortunately) an SB Live 5.1. The...- urinsane
