G5. Mines so old it has the orange and grey colour scheme. Still works great, I've never had any problems with skipping, I don't know what thats about.

Often they have a call or add to cart thing for their prices, because they cannot post prices below the retailers MSRP. I just bought K702's from them around 150-200 dollars LESS than retail.

I don't know if thats worth a 600 dollar premium over the original DAC1.

Its really up to you, but headphones are like girls, it about quality not quantity :P You can only listen to one at a time.

From the website, it looks like the same headphone amp is in all models of the DAC1

Grado SR60's are immensely popular. I'm not sure if it'll suit your needs I'm sure others can clarify for me.

Output on a K702 would be good? I hope so this is what I've been looking for.
