AKG k 701 the guys at Stereophile rave about it - but it needs about 100 hours break in time - I've seen it new on ebay for around $250 us. I bought a couple pairs of Audio Technica ATH M-50's for the studio a few months ago - they're a good kit. I loved my sr60's but the ear pad deteriorated...
