I was in the same postion as you and for 2 weeks trawling through endless reviews. In the end I bought the NE-7's with Comply 400 foam tips, and am just amazed!! I had the Er6i's for 1.5 years which were great but these take my listening pleasure to a new level I don't wanna take them out of my...

Can buds be affected by the cold??

Yeah I do wear a hat... especially in -25'c... but would this offer enough protection? would be interesting to find out at what temp' would be a dangerous level to use buds at. I wouldn't normally be so concerned but snowboarding at -30'c it would be good to know in advance rather than find out...

Upgrading from ER6i to Nuforce NE-7... wise??

Yeah thanks for the suggestion Taikero, but am a bit frustrated that my last Ety's broke so soon after paying $150 for them, is 1.5 years all we get out of expensive products these days?? So I reckon it won't hurt so much having a $50 pair break, i.e. the Ne-7's after a year or so. Still any...

Upgrading from ER6i to Nuforce NE-7... wise??

My Ety ER6i's just mysteriously broke a few days ago after 1.5 years of loyal service. After trawling through the pages and pages of reviews on here, the Nuforce NE-7 sound like the way to go for under $100. I always found my Ety's lacking in bass so these sound miraculous and for only $50...
