Oops, I forgot the last question. The 007t uses the modern 6FQ7/6CG7 (4 of them). When you switch it on, it preheats for ~20 seconds. Not much warming up effect however on this amp, during the 1st hour it might become slightly smoother, but then, I found no further improvement.
