At the moment I'm using some ATH A700's and an x-fi card. I've got the cash for one or the other at the moment so I was looking for opinions on which would probably provide me with the better experience for some weeks until I can purchase the other.   Also, if either of these seems like bad...

At the moment I have a creative X-fi titanium for a sound card that I got from a friend for little to nothing. For headphones I'm using a pair of audio-technica a700's. These headphones are really falling apart now and I would very much like to upgrade to something more comfortable and higher...

I looked around for a rules thread but did not see one right away so forgive the triple post. I'm rather eager to put out the order for some new gear so, yeah.  

At the moment I am considering the HD650's and the Schiit Asgard, but would really like some input from a few more experienced people.

o/   Currently I own a pair of some getting older ath-a700's. The earpads are 95% worn at this point and have almost none of the fake pleather stuff left on them. I'm looking at upgrading my sound a bit.   I don't want to spend all the $$$ right at the moment so let's say i have a budget...
