    Best Headphones for Metal?

I'ee recommend the grado 225s too. the 125s are too bright, and the 325 even more so. the 225 are indeed the sweet spot. I also like the dt770/80 for the brighter material, since they are on the darker, bassy side. Sennheiser 595's (I have the 120 ohm version) are nice too, when you want a...

    SENNHEISER 595 120 OHM

IMHO senn first made the 595 120 0hms so that it could be used with more versatility. Easy enough to drive ampless, but the higher ohmage allows for more flexibility with amps. This is just my guess, but I think it makes sense, given the fact that the other high end senns are 300 ohms. I...

Senn 555 vs 595, help me choose.

595 is more detailed, has tighter bass and is brighter than the 555. The sound is more natural to my ears as well.

How much could i sell a used pair of HD 595's for on here or eBay?

I agree that it would be a good idea to check the for sale forum for the going rates. But a good indicator also, is how much they are currently selling for new. Nobody will spend $140 on a used 595 if a new one can be had for $150. So depending on the age of the cans, whether you have the...

Where do I go from here, metal-wise?

I'd recommend the following for metal: Blind Guardian- Imaginations from the other side, and the Live album Demons and Wizards- both albums, but start with the s/t one Symphony x- "v" and "the odyssey"

    Whats your WORST recorded CDs?

Holiday by the Magnetic Fields is very poory recorded. Quite a bit of digital distortion which I'm sure was not intentionally added for effect. Great record otherwise though.

    KSC75+Creative Zen Nano plus=loud enough?

Funny that you should ask this question... I have a zen nano plus 1gb arriving today, and I'll be using the ksc75 w/ them. I think your question comes from the fact that the creative player runs on 1 AAA battery, and the ksc75 have 60 ohm drivers, correct? Personally, I'm not expecting any...
