polyolefin (or other) 4:1 heat shrink tubing for IEM cable
First of all, is this even possible or recommended? Like is the heat gun going to damage my IEMs? I own a pair of Image X10s and the warranty on them is already out-of-date, so i'm just trying to keep them in working condition as long as possible. The cable is 1/16" thick and the...- toxic888

PA2V2 Problems
you can't use non rechargeable batteries with the PA2V2 because the amp requires that the batteries you use have a specific voltage (1.2V). Theres a slight difference in voltage between standard chargeable (1.2V) and standard non-rechargeable (1.5V) batteries which is causing your problem.- toxic888

The HD800 Pricing: Some thoughts
Fewer people would take it as seriously if it were priced lower. Besides, the cost to engineer them is also a factor. I'd say the biggest reason is because they can get enough people to buy it at $1400; maybe thats the strategy here and the reason why so many flagship phones have come out in...- toxic888

Entry Headphone, Grado Sr80(i) vs Sennheiser HD555
I A/B'ed the SR80i with bowl pads and HD555 at a local B&H. In my opinion, the HD555 are by far more comfortable than the SR80i's, and seem to be much sturdier. The Grado's are much flimsier, because the headband is thin and the only thing holding them together is that thin metal piece... it...- toxic888

Can anyone confirm this LOD?
Does anyone own this iPod LOD, if so, would you recommend it for the price? I was looking for a cheaper alternative, but I can't seem to find anything. So... what LOD does everyone have? (Anyone?) Can anyone link me to a different, cheaper cable? (not too cheap... just preferably ~20.)...- toxic888

How many people here get irritated by 'normals'?
most annoying (I'm not using most loosely): - (being part of) the system. annoying because its not something that you can change. (explanation would be... too long. subconscious influences, service to self, materialism, etc. [corrupting principles most people deny the existence of])- toxic888
