hi cant seem to get the latest version of EAC to rip to flac. no matter what i change in the settings all i get is .wav files. they then dont appear correctly in foobar, album shows as (?). what am i doing wrong? cheers

in the advanced settings of my spdif output i can select upto 24/192. on playback of youtube vids, the m2tech young dac displays 192. does this mean that windows is upsampling?

could someone please advise me on the above?   in the advanced tab for my spdif (coax) settings, the drop down menu allows selection from 16 bit 41000hz all the way up to 24 bit 192000hz!   i am currently using the 24/192 setting. but am i gaining anything when all i play is flacs...

at the time when i bought my stagedac, spdif coax was generally considered the best way to connect to a pc. now that there are dacs offering 32bit transfer, via usb, does this mean if i were to change my dac that i would now be better off conecting via usb?

i have a hiss problem with my d7000. if i use my 125 ohm imp adapter i get no hiss. problem is , it seems to change the sound sig of the denons. is this "to be expected"?
