I've owned the Momentum 2.0 for three weeks now and have tried them in different scenarios. And I discovered that when I was outside the Momentum sounded a little bit more fun and engaging while at home it sounded cleaner somehow. Is it just me or is there a logical explanation to this?

Sound signature I care for most: deep, punchy, textured bass, soundstage, well balanced with nice mid and highs, fun sounding suitable for pop, rock and indie so that you can't help dancing to the music. Portable, light and comfortable. Preferably don't need an amp to sound their best. Around...

I auditioned the HP50S at a local store for about an hour and really enjoyed it. I haven't had the chance to listen to the M500 for myself, but I'm intrigued by all the good reviews on the Internet. So which one is a winner?
