Finally bought HD600 after going through M50x, HM5, and SRH940. I have to say I'm very impressed by its sq and especially comfort. But I hear a lot of bass on it, almost as much as M50x. Did HD600 change driver to be more bassy or maybe my source...

Hey everyone, I'm trying to upgrade from my M50x to more hifi headphones. My budget is $400 (can go over somewhat) and I'm looking for one with neutral sound and wide soundstage. Also, should I get DAP or DAC/amp? Is one better sounding than other? Thanks!
