Is there someway to bypass the TBAAM's amp and use it as a direct line-out?

HR's site says it's comfortable connected to an iPod, but if there is no 1/8th input on the amp what are the options as far as ipod connectivity? Is there and option that accesses the amp's DAC? Thanks P.S. I noticed the desktop portable had the 1/8th, but is it the same amp only portable?

Has anyone experienced the hiss while listening to TV through media center? My rig is a total bithead > k701. Any thoughts would be appreciated. Also, I've recently ripped some phish cd's via wma lossless and am noticing alot of distortion in my phones. what am i doing wrong? Thanks
