I've seen a box or two that isn't sealed and a few that were. Any idea if it's the stores doing this or Sennheiser. I really don't want someone's returned goods.

Bought them a few days ago and, recently, they are noticeably louder than the day before? Is this the much talked about "burn-in" effect?

The cable running into the right driver is loose. By that, I mean I can push it up into the driver a bit (it won't pull out however - not trying at least). Is that normal? Thanks in advance.

Wow. I've been at Head-Fi for less than a week and I've purchased a set of HD555s. When I first arrived, my budget was less than $100 CDN. Spent double and love the new cans. If they sound this good tonight (been using them for less than an hour) I can't wait to hear them in a few weeks.

I've found a new set for 1/2 price. Anyone have experience with these? Thanks.
