A few threads dated last year mentioned success that when calling Westone, they provided a discount on the W40s down to $350 or $365. I tried this late to the game with no luck. Are there other options or vendors you know of that might carry these marked down?

I just picked up the Sennheiser HD25-1 II set, which have a split headband... apparently it "adds comfort."   Do you put both on top? One behind/one in front of the cowlick? One way back?   Or is it just whatever you fee like?
