I just got a pair of HD595s and they sound wonderfull but my ears stick out into the cups and hit the rather hard plastic grill, which after a little while can become quite uncomfortable. I tried sticking some thin foam pads from some older broken headphones in there which made them feel better...

I was right about to order some hd595s (http://www.compuplus.com/i-Sennheise...r-froogle.html) and i noticed some people refering to a 50 ohm version of the 595. Is there more than one, and is there any way to tell which ones you are ordering?

How much of a difference can you here with a 595 or a 650 when its amped vs driven right out of a computer sound card? Also, I could afford either a 595 with an amp, or a 650 without one; would it be safe to assume that the 595 with an amp would sound better than the 650 witout one? Thanks
